Greg Brown Commits to Michigan
Michigan got its first 2011 commit yesterday, as Ohio cornerback Greg Brown verballed to the Wolverines. According to ESPN, Brown committed shortly after he was offered by Michigan.
“(Michigan) faxed an offer to my school today,” Brown said. “I called Coach Rodriguez after practice and committed. He was happy. He said I’ll have a fun time. When I went up to Michigan I had a good relationship with the coaches and I liked the environment.”
Brown also already has offers from Michigan State and Central Michigan.
There is no real evaluation out there for Brown since he is a 2011 recruit, but he is on the ESPNU 150 Watch List. A quick look at Brown reveals that he is 5-10, 180 lbs. and hails from Fremont Ross High School. If that sounds familiar, it’s because Charles Woodson played his high school ball at Fremont Ross, as did former Michigan running back Rob Lytle.
