  1. D.A. Reed says:

65 years as a proud Michigan man all gone with one incompetant coach and an absolutely useless quarter back……let him transfer NOW…………and FIRE RODRIGUEZ.

    • Boneless Buffalo Wing says:

      Dumb…

    • Richard says:

“When Rich Rodriguez asks for patience, again, it rings hollow. With a new athletic director coming in, potential NCAA violations looming and a two-year bowl drought a reality, patience is gone. Production is now what needs to be seen.” – Michael Rothstein, AnnArbor.com.

And remember we ran Lloyd Carr out cause we weren’t happy with his production…i.e., 7-9 win’s per season and full of conservatism! Rich Rod is history, and I can’t wait for it to happen sooner!

  2. Mick says:

Well this is so much fun, yeah right! RichRod is so arrogant with his scheme. He comes in and just has to change everything and foresake the the program for his friggin’ ego! Why couldn’t this asshole just gradually ease into his system, but nooooo! He pisses me off. I want him gone!

How many times do you have to change QB’s RR? Huh? Take Barwis with you too, this is fucking bullshit! Tate couldn’t get any rythym cause he kept changing QB’s, the horrible play calling!
1-7 in the Big Ten, 3-13 in 2 years, 0-2 to how many Big Ten teams now?

I’m sick of hearing he needs more time, he’s not the guy! This is a serious time for us. We can’t be screwing around and waiting! This is Michigan!

    • Boneless Buffalo Wing says:

      …and dumber.

    • Richard says:

Man you are exactly right, this is what I have been saying for the past 2 weeks after our loss to Purdue! His philosophy needs to change if he wants to have a chance in the BIG TEN conference, this isn’t the BIG EAST! Plus his play calling is so suspect! I mean, its so predictable that I can sit on my couch at home and with 70% accuracy tell you what the next play is going to be! RR is obviously not a good coach, coach’s adjust their play calling and make adjustments at half-time. Has anyone seen him make adjustments at half-time? I think not! Our team was one of the worst in the nation in the second half….what a joke!

Year one: Learning year…this was a forgivable year, but also a year in which he should have learned how the BIG TEN operates and get ready for year two….

Year two: This is when you make adjustments since you’ve already coached in 12 games the year before 8 of which were BIG TEN games! One of which was an ASS whooping from Ohio State….are you serious!

Year Three: Well, hopefully there isn’t a year three! If there is, it will look much like this year and we won’t have ANY talent on defense, I don’t care if you have Ray Lewis coach that defense, it’s still going to SUCK BALLS! On offense, we are still going to be TRANSPARENT because RR calls the plays, or maybe it’s his 5th grade son, I haven’t figured this one out yet, but when I do I will let you know! Any opposing coach licks his chops in the BIG TEN NOW when playing MICHIGAN cause we are so predictable on both sides of the ball….that’s my story and I’m sticking to it!

  3. Brad says:

You guys are not Michigan fans. Get a clue!!! IN RICH ROD I TRUST!!! GO BLUE!!!

  4. Mick says:

Brad: brother I am an M fan true and true! I’m sorry if I demand excellence, not less than mediocre, yes that’s less than mediocre, not even mediocre. Have I made myself clear?
This was un-neccessary to have to go through, yet we are. Why? because I believe he let his damn ego get in the way. I’ll try and bear one more year, but that’s it! No more excuses unless we at least come close to 10 wins if not 10 or more.
I hope RR learns from this and grows and proves me wrong for the future. The jury is still way out!
BTW, This is the most painful 2 seasons I’ve had to endure since I started being a fan in the early 70′s. I think even OSU fans feel bad for us. I’m sure beating us the last two years hasn’t helped their image nationally!

    • Brad says:

I don’t believe a word you say. Rich Rod’s ego, WTF is wrong with you. He can’t ease into his system, he runs the fucking spread offense, PERIOD! That is the coach we hired, we didn’t hire a conventional pro-style offensive coach, because that is not working very well in college football anymore. Unless you have a better track record than Rich Rod has in coaching, SHUT UP and support him, instead of calling for his head after 2 years!!! I TRUELY BLEED MAIZE AND BLUE! (Unlike most of you assholes)

      • Chris says:

Really? The pro style offense isn’t working in college ball anymore? Then how come most spread teams around the nation struggled this year?

Watch your mouth there tough guy!

        • Brad says:

Watch my mouth tough guy, really!! 9 of the top 12 teams don’t run a pro style offense. Florida, texas, cincinnati, boise state, georgia tech, LSU, That team down south, oregon, oklahoma state. the only ones I count that are true pro-style are alabama, TCU, and Pitt. If 9 out of 12 equals struggling then what is 3 of 12 considered. Don’t call out someone unless you have the facts to back it up!!! GO BLUE!!!

  5. Bruce says:

It’s a sad day for Michigan. I’m glad that the team did not give up though. They could have been disheartened after each one of the turnovers but the defense hung in there. Ohio was playing it conservative but the defense didn’t get blown out. Graham played like a true professional which is what he will be this time next year. I just hope the Lions have watched any Michigan games this year and draft that guy.

We can forget 10 wins or even a winning season next year. We’ll be playing a freshman QB again without Minor on offense. The defense will be without Graham and Warren and I didn’t see much hope with the underclassmen. I think Brandon Smith might turn out to be good along with Campbell, but thats it. I see another 5-7 season, maybe worse. We really need two good safeties to compete for a winning season.

  6. Sgarv says:

Tate is a true freshman, if he made no mistakes at all, most fans would act like that is to be expected rather than the Extraordinary Achievement it would have been. Cut some slack on a young, developing player under high pressure.
Mick says develope this system slowly? how do you slowly move from one system to another? This is his first year with his sytem under his first recruiting class, he doesnt even have all his players yet. Geez.
So fans want to go back to Carr and winless bowl records and losses to O State again.

  7. Jhuff says:

In these economic times should we be paying a coach to lose? I have not seen a lot of defense get recruited which is one of our weakest areas. Look at OSU, really not very strong in offense like a top 10 national team should be but their defense put them there and gave them the win Saturday. Defense is where Carr focused….wonder why? Never thought I would see the day when we are compared and considered the same competition as an Indiana.

  8. Jesse in Ohio says:

Hear me out, before RR the worst season during my lifetime was 7-5. Yes, this is a hard process to go through. BUT STOPPING LITTLE BRATS. Rich Rodriguez is the right coach.NExt Year we will be 9-4 or 10-3. 2011 under Devin Gardner, we go 11-2 in a Bcs Bowl. 2012 will be our year. Im telling you give the man time. STOP BEING LITTLE CRYING BITCHES AND SAYING THAT YOU DEMAND EXCELLENCE. I am starting to hate some michigan fans. Everyone complains that Ohio State fans are annoying, we re a in the top five of the most annoying fans for sure. Stop complaining, all you see is the negatives. Look at the positive of this game. We played well with Ohio State. This is a huge win for us because the commits see this program is in the right direction. The main part is because they saw that the defense isnt a joke so they will strongly consider Michigan. Now my three negatives of yesterday. 1: The refs us on MANY calls in the first half especially on the Pi on the throw to Denard. 2: Tate’s inability to preforn in the redzone. This is unacceptable. If he doesn’t make that interception in the red zone in the fourth quarter i believe we win that game. Finally this is my biggest negative of the game. THE ALUMNI SUCK. THe Alumni in my section(7) complain about standing, IN THE FOURTH QUARTER. GO BUY A SUITE IF YOU THE GAME. I mean comon. Sitting in the fourth quarter, or any time of the game is just absurd. Overall, Stop complaining everyon we are headed in the right direction.

    • Brad says:

Finally someone sees it the same way I do. Thank you for being a true Michigan fan.

As far as the Alumni go, I understand what you are saying. I am really into standing and making noise and i hate when the alumni tell me to sit down. You just have to get seats not in the alumni sections.

For everyone else……..if you are not behind Rich Rod and this program than just stop being fans. I am sick of our fans and all of there bullshit. This program of ours has never experienced a down time and we have become spoiled. Suck it up and quit bitching about it, our time will come and THE VICTORS WILL BE VICTORIOUS AGAIN.

      GO BLUE!!!

  9. Kevin in South Carolina says:

Amen, Jesse. I have been a Michigan fan for about nine years. Over the past three years, I have seen some Michigan fans really act like babies. Three years ago, they said “fire Lloyd Carr!” Two years later, they say the same about RR. Give the man a chance. If he does not get seven wins next year, by all means, fire him. The talent will be there for him to win…but it will not happen in one or two years of when he started. For the babies out there, go by a pacifier and start talking again next year. No one likes a losing team. Acting like a baby when you lose makes things even worse.

  10. Sgarv says:

It takes time to -Rebuild- a team. Dont forget year one was not only not a recruiting year for Rod, but was rebuilding year as well, most of the talent was gone.
