Back-to-Back GLI Champs!

Michigan won its second straight GLI championship tonight. The Wolverines beat Michigan State by a score of 5-1 and were flat out dominant. The score very well could have been 10-1 if you factor in just how many scoring chances Michigan had. I think they hit the post four different times in the final period and missed an open net. Hell, if MSU didn’t have Jeff Lerg, this could have easily been a 15-1 win. Michigan State barely controlled the puck after its first goal and ended up getting outshot 51-19. The score definitely doesn’t reflect just how one-sided this game was.
