Inside Out Look at Michigan’s New Home Jersey
We’ve all seen pictures of Michigan’s new home jersey by now, but what we haven’t gotten a look at is the inside of the jersey; that is, until now. When details of the new jerseys surfaced, we learned that the home jersey featured a couple interesting things on the inside, such as the phrase “Those who stay will be champions,” and all the years Michigan won a Big Ten title. I wasn’t quite sure how adidas would work those things into the uniform, but their PR firm sent a few pictures to me (and it seems every blog and news source on the Internet) that give a detailed look at these otherwise unseen features. Also, in case you’re interested, below is a detailed look at the stitching on the away jersey.

Adidas did a great job with the details- very smart.
I think all those “hidden messages” sewn on the inside is just a gimmick to jack up the prices of the jerseys? If players need that to get motivated then the coaches aren’t doing their jobs.
By high-quality, yet simpler jerseys and use the money saved for something better.
I agree about the “hidden messages.” You can’t sew in motivation, dedication, reputation: that’s get proven on the playing field.
Use that money spent on embroidery on more important things.
I’m going to disagree with the previous two. I think details like this are quite nice. To me, things like this instill pride. The details tell players that the traditions they learn about when they come to campus are a deep part of everything they do.
