If you haven’t already noticed, I’ve made some changes to Michigan Sports Center. The biggest difference is the new navigation menu at the top of the site that links to various things. Here’s a break down of the new menu:

  • Home – Pretty self explanatory; clicking on this link takes you to MichiganSportsCenter.com
  • Sports – This part of the menu expands into five different links that will take you to stories broken down by which sports they are about
  • Schedules – Another part of the menu that expands into more links; takes you to football schedules/results dating back to 1995 and basketball schedules/results going back to 2006-07
  • Recruiting – More of the same as two links drop down to take you to football’s or basketball’s 2008 recruiting class
  • Photos – My Michigan pictures on Flickr
  • Videos – My Michigan videos on YouTube
  • About – Some background info on MSC and myself
  • Contact – If you need to get in contact with me, you can fill out the form on this page or send me an e-mail
  • Search – The same search box from the sidebar

With the addition of this new menu, I’ve taken quite a few things off the front page, which hopefully will speed up load times now that all of the images from the past football schedules are gone.

The other site news I have is that I’m taking a week off from posting. The next few days I’ll be out of town, and then by the time I’m back it’ll be the weekend anyways, so look for new posts starting next Monday or Tuesday (assuming nothing big happens in the time I’m gone). If there’s news to break, then I’ll put up a post.

If you have any technical issues with the changes to the site, make sure to let me know and I’ll fix them. Other than that, see you back here next week and thanks for reading.

By the way, MSC recently crossed the 1,000,000-pageviews mark, so a big thanks goes out to all that have read in the last two+ years.
