Michael Schofield Commits to Michigan

Michigan received its 10th commit of the 2009 recruiting class today as Illinois offensive tackle Michael Schofield committed to the Wolverines. Schofield is the first offensive lineman to verbal to Michigan in this recruiting class, which hopefully will get the ball rolling for OL recruiting as that is a position of need.

Schofield is a 4-star on Rivals and is ranked as the 16th best OT in the country. He has great size and surprisingly is a hurdler on his track team according to his Scout profile. Schofield should be the first of a few commits in the coming week or so as there is a camp going on at Michigan, meaning quite a few recruits are going to be coming through Ann Arbor.
