Former Michigan offensive tackle Jake Long has reportedly agreed to a deal with the Dolphins that will make him the #1 overall pick in this weekend’s NFL Draft.

Michigan offensive lineman Jake Long and the Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms on a six-year deal, FOXSports.com has learned. The deal, to be voided after five years, is worth $30 million guaranteed and has a total value of $57 million over five years.

Congratulations to Jake on becoming the this year’s top pick. He is more than deserving of this honor, and anytime a Michigan player goes #1 overall in the draft it’s a good thing.

Awesome. Have any other Michigan players gone #1? I can’t remember any. Braylon went #3, I think. Charles Woodson went pretty high…hmmmmmm
