Enjoy Ann Arbor

As you probably know already, Terrelle Pryor will be in Ann Arbor this weekend for his official visit. I’m not saying that the next few seasons of Michigan football could be determined by this visit, but yeah, it’s pretty important.

Have fun in A2, Terrelle.

I just wish that people would stop kissing this guys ass. I mean he is not going to make or break our program. If he thinks M is a good fit fine, if not fine too!!

Yes, he has loads of “potential”, but at the same time, its only potential and nothing more.

Again, i just wish people would stop going too far with this whole Pryor thing.

    Hey Anon,
You sound like a troll, go away or identify yourself.
Real U-M fans wouldn’t say what you just said. Could you just be a jealous osu troll?

    Mick

He should shave off the mustache.

Disagree about the sideburns. He close it into a goatee.

    Mick,

Relax. What anon is saying is that UM will be just fine with or without Pryor. There are other fine qb’s out there that can run RR’s offense, such as that ‘Bama commit that RR is recruiting and M. Gray. Even if we get Pryor, there will be plenty of frustrating moments with the new offensive system. Threet will surprise a lot of people. He will be better than R-Soph Navarre, and he led UM to a New Year’s Day bowl!

We have other issues with the other 23 positions, such as wr, rb, and the defense lost quite a bit. If osu can make the nc game with an average qb, well so can UM!!

    Mick,

I am a true blue GO BLUE fan from birth and I agree with anon. TP is with no doubt one great athlete but odds are he’s not going to make or break a program. It’s great if he come to A2 but I won’t be disappointed if he doesn’t. UM will find talent and put that talent to work. We also know that RR and his staff is quite adept in taking kids who weren’t highly regarded in HS but had talent and made them great college football players.

Mike, having a name attached to you doesn’t make you anymore or anyless a fan. I post over at MgoBlog as the “The Original C” so i am not fucking tOSU troll!!

The same was said about Mallett…remember the Oregon game when half the fans at the stadium were chanting “we want Mallett”…we all know how that ended.

This kid, is a bad passer and an excellent runner. RR’s system can hide some of his deficiencies and enhance his skills..but the fact remains that he is a bad passer. So even if we get him in he is not going to be here until June or July. That means only fall camp to develop some skills and learn the system.

Plus he is not going to have someone like Braylon, Avant or Breaston to throw the ball to..but his running skills and the spread option stuff will offset some of those minuses!!

Bottomline…Michigan football does not depend on Pryor, getting him is great if not too bad but we will survive!! and Mike please do go all Terry foster on us!!!!!

that was supposed to read..”DON’T go all Terry Foster on us”

You just got a commit from DJ Woods, a wr from OH. He’s the #57 ranked wr in the nation and has offers from WV, OSU, MSU, Neb, PSU, Auburn, Iowa among others. If the offers are legit, Woods seems to be A LOT better than #57. He is 6 feet tall and is listed as running the 40 in 4.35.

    Just a FYI…

  10. Spartan Bob says:

It’s not 100% official yet as far as I’m aware. (Although technically, it is never 100% official till signing day, as I am sure many UM and MSU fans know from past decommitments.)

I received my info from Spartan Mag, and one of the writers of the site has a UM contact that basically said that Woods is now a UM commit.

I am not sure when he returns from his visit this weekend, but I would guess it would not become official until he gets back to his home in Ohio.

It will be interesting if this will have any effect on Pryor. RR made a living recruiting Ohio while at WVU, so I would expect that trend to continue. (For UM, that is a good thing as Ohio is loaded with talent.)

  11. Spartan Bob says:

I know Pryor is from PA, but on a side note, I bet UM will recruit Ohio even harder than they have in the past.

The source on Spartan Mag is a solid one, in my opinion.

Wow this is a big weekend for Michigan! Who are some of the other recruits up there this weekend? Any news on who has committed if anyone??

  13. Big Blue says:

That was one ugly bball game! I hope Pryor doesn’t base his decision on how bad our team is or how the fans do not care about bball! (The upper deck was mostly empty.)

I believe OSU is telling Pryor that “he will be able to play bball also.” I think it is simply osu tellin a recruit what he wants to hear. If he comes to UM, he could be the star for both fb and bball as our bball team is not very good right now, with the exception of Manny and perhaps D. Sims. All UM needs to do is point at Brady, T. Collins, Grbac, Harbaugh, Henson, and even Navarre all made it to the NFL. Want to make the NFL? UM has quite the history of qb’s making it in the NFL!
