Keep Elliott Mealer in Your Prayers
Offensive lineman Elliott Mealer, a Michigan commit from Ohio, suffered a Christmas that no one should have to go through. He was with his family and his girlfriend when the car they were driving in was hit by a 90-year old that ran a stop sign on Christmas Eve, and the accident was deadly. His father and his girlfriend passed away as they were thrown from the car and his brother is in critical condition. Elliott and his mother reportedly escaped the crash with only minor injuries.
If you’re going to take anything from this, it is that you should wear your seatbelt at all times. No one in the car was wearing their seatbelt, and you have to imagine that lives could have been saved if seatbelts were worn. Regardless of that, my thoughts and prayers are with the entire Mealer and Richer (his girlfriend) family and anyone affected by this tragedy. Stay strong, Elliott.

They will be in my thoughts and prayers.
all wolverine fans from the sw ohio area extend our hears and prayers for the young man and his family.
What a tradegy and the worst part of all is that it easily could have been prevented. That 90-year old has no business driving. There needs to be mandatory eye tests and driving tests for people over 75. These tests should be done every year also.
Mr. Mealer and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
