Slocum Charged with Misdemeanor Alcohol Possession
After putting so much work into getting to the University of Michigan, many wondered why Marques Slocum didn’t even dress for the season’s first two games. There was speculation that it was an injury or something involving the infamous Facebook survey, but it actually was due to being in trouble with the law.
Redshirt freshman defensive tackle Marques Slocum has been charged with a misdemeanor alcohol violation, as a minor who purchased, consumed and/or possessed liquor. The incident occurred in Ann Arbor on Aug. 30 according to court records, two days before Michigan’s season opener against Appalachian State.Slocum did not dress in uniform for Michigan’s first two games, but was seen sitting in the Michigan Stadium bleachers during last Saturday’s loss to Oregon.
Carr has not explained Slocum’s absence from the team on game days. Slocum, 20, is scheduled to be arraigned next week.
This isn’t really an ultra serious charge, but Slocum really should be more careful. He already had the Facebook thing happen and now this. If you’re going to drink two days before the season opener, make sure you don’t get caught at least.
I’m not exactly sure how much longer it’ll be until Slocum does dress, but you can bet he is in Lloyd’s doghouse, which is a tough place to crawl out of.

He might be a so called beast on the field (we may never know or see him on the field) but he’s a real frickin moron. I just don’t think this kid gets it.
True, but he’s also the son of the realest bitch alive. So he has that going for him, which is nice.
