Picking the Games: Week 3

I went 10-1 last week in picking games from the Big Ten, only picking the Michigan-Oregon game incorrectly. Although just saying it was incorrect is an understatement. This week I’m looking to continue my early season success in predicting who wins in these Big Ten games, but am also using a different method to get Michigan a win for a change.

Here are my picks:

Out of all these games, there are really only two that should stick out at all. The first is the Minnesota-Florida Atlantic game, in which I predicted FAU to pick up a win. Minnesota has struggled in its first two games, and I believe that continues in Week 3.

The other game that sticks out is the one that is most important to Michigan fans. I really don’t know what will happen in the Michigan-Notre Dame game, but considering picking U-M the previous two weeks didn’t work at all, I’m just going to try something different. Do I really think Notre Dame will win? Not really. But at the same time, I don’t think Michigan will win either. Since there aren’t ties in college football anymore, I’m just hoping this reverse jinxing type of thing will work out for the Wolverines.

Check back next week for a look back at how accurate my picks were.

Good call with Florida Atlantic beating Minny. Now UM needs to continue to beat up ND!
