To kick off my college football preview for each conference, I’m going to start with some of the non-BCS conferences. I’ll list the order of finish I believe the teams will be in, and if there is a title game pick a winner. Sound simple? Well, for the non-BCS conferences I don’t have as much knowledge of, I’ll just post the rankings. Once I get into the higher-profile conferences I’ll start adding comments. The record in parentheses is what I predicted each team to finish.

C-USA – EAST

  1. Southern Miss (11-2)
  2. Memphis (9-3)
  3. UCF (5-7)
  4. East Carolina (3-9)
  5. Marshall (3-9)
  6. UAB (3-9)

C-USA – WEST

  3. Northern Illinois (6-6)
  4. Central Michigan (5-7)
  5. Ball State (2-10)
  6. Eastern Michigan (2-10)

TITLE GAME: Toledo over Miami (Ohio)

MOUNTAIN WEST

  1. BYU (10-2)
  2. TCU (9-3)
  3. Utah (7-5)

  6. Florida International (2-10)
  7. North Texas (2-10)

As I said, I’ll have more in the upcoming previews, but I didn’t want to devote a ton of time to conferences I didn’t know that much about.
