Goodbye Germany

One of the three players in Lloyd’s doghouse is off the team. It isn’t a shock but is surprising as far as which one it is. Defensive end Eugene Germany is no longer on the team after news came out yesterday that he was ticketed for possession of marijuana in February.

And backup defensive end Eugene Germany was ticketed for marijuana possession in Ann Arbor on Feb. 12, according to court records. But Germany, who admitted responsibility and paid a $50 fine, recently was granted a release from his scholarship so he can transfer.

I figured this was the reason for being in trouble in the first place, but maybe it is a separate incident after something else had already happened. Either way, Germany is the first of the three to be kicked off the team. Butler is gone as well, but nothing probably will be done until the court case happens so Carr knows he was in fact guilty. All I have to say to Adrian Arrington is to stay out of trouble because losing all three would be horrible, especially a solid receiver.
