Michigan Gymnastics Wins Northeast Regional

One of the less recognized sports in the Michigan athletic department, and also less talked about on here is women’s gymnastics. Michigan has very good team, and proved that after finishing first in the Northeast Regional of the NCAA Championships. Now the Wolverines are on to the finals of the NCAA Championships at Oregon State.

In the blogosphere, Kyle over at Dawg Sports has been following the Gym Dogs all year, and continually updates their success. The Gym Dogs are undefeated and the #1 team in the nation. How does this relate to Michigan? Well, back on March 11th, the #1 Georgia Gym Dogs came to town in Ann Arbor and just edged out the maize and blue by a score of 197.625-197.100. Both Georgia and Michigan are still around for the NCAA Championships on April 20-22, and I just wanna wish both Michigan and Georgia good luck throughout the finals.
