Come on, the team has not played a game yet and already the doubts are pouring in. The spring game is just a warm up, no one shows true talent until its time. I live in Columbus, and don't let OSU fool you, this year the defense is quite young and just like us they have to play talent does not lie in the name alone. GO BLUE GO BLUE GO BLUE signed Lady Blue Columbus.....

The referee that you recognized was David Witvoet.

Last year his crew handled Michigan's games with Wisconsin, Iowa and Ohio State. That crew also took the Rose Bowl with USC and Texas.

Anonymous at 4:55pm: If you actually believe that no one in the Big Ten fears Michigan, your 30-plus years of football have left you relatively clueless.

Maybe you should ask around again.

Your to pessimistic!!! Give this team a chance, a lot of young guys are returning from last year and it was only a spring game, who cares how good or bad they looked. All that matters is what happens starting Sept. 2. From what I heard, Henne didn't even do that much at the practice. This team will be fine.

To the 30+ season ticket holder...Bihl & Mitchell should be fine and I doubt Riley starts at RT, probably Kolodiej/Zirbel.

To the guy who said Drew Stanton is the best QB in the nation...Thanks, I needed a laugh!

Thanks for the effort that you put into this. Here are my comments:

1. You have really overestimated the crowd. Do some simple math, 44 sections = 107,000 people. That's 2,400 people per section - when they're packed in like sardines. From the pictures at mgoblue and elsewhere, Secs 44, 1, and 2 looked to be about 75% full. Some were scattered in the other sections, to be sure, but remember that no one was packed in to those seats like it was game day. A good estimate is probably 7,500 to 10,000 tops. A normal showing, but certainly not 30,000.

2. A team that gives significant playing time to A Bradley - great kid that he is - is not a Big 10 championship-caliber team.

3. A team that starts Bihl-Mitchell-Riley on the right side of the OL is going to get shredded in South Bend, Happy Valley and Columbus. This will have a very bad effect on the TB production, even if the talent is there (and legitmate questions exist).

4. As a life-long UM fan, and a 30+ year season ticket holder, let me assure you that no one - and I mean no one - in the Big 10 fears Michigan right now. And that does not bode well for us.

Flap here...

I don't really think you should take so much from this practice with Henne, he has a while to make some strides still, lets hope he does.

Jackson being absent pisses me of.

Kept a close eye on Adrian Arrington all afternoon. Thought he looked very good, sure handed. If he has completely recovered from his injury look for him to be a go to guy in the fall.
